The Laerdal Stifneck Extrication Collar combines convenience with an innovative design to give better patient care in the field. The collar comes in four adult and two pediatric sizes and all are color coded for easy identification. An external sizing post allows you to accurately estimate patient size prior to application. Single piece construction means the collar is always ready to use. Because it is flexible, Stifneck can be stored in a variety of ways and is easily applied to patients in either a sitting or a supine position. The collar is fully radiolucent and has been shown to be extremely effective in several published x-ray studies.
